Getting up early sucks. Also, Hornblower.
Okay, so, the first Hornblower movie was awesome in every possible way. Netflix had better continue their streak of super-fast shipping for the next one, or else I will freak out. Upon watching it, though, I have to wonder: Does Jamie Bamber only do projects where he will be surrounded by other wee people? Because, dude, based on Hornblower and BSG, I seriously think he might. Tiniest. Casts. Ever!

hello, internets!
So, the 4th of July was kind of lame. We went to Long Beach, sat around, and watched a hell of a lot of fireworks. The big fireworks show at the beach ended up being delayed by almost an hour when some drunk-ass redneck drove his car into the blast zone, got stuck in the sand, and ended up having to be towed away by a bulldozer. Awesome.
We also went to Astoria to see War of the Worlds, which was okay, but kind of meh. Gary and I spent most of the movie quoting Futurama at each other, which, seriously... "A few of you will be forced through a fine mesh screen for your planet. They will be the luckiest of all." Too perfect.
Now, I'm going to go lay in bed (my own bed! Not a hastily-constructed deck-chair-cushion bed on my Grandmother's living room floor! Hallelujah!) and watch the first Horatio Hornblower movie, which I Netflixed as part of the "see BSG actors in other roles" initiative of Summer 2005. Hopefully Jamie Bamber's fluffy hair will not distract me too much from what I understand to be a good movie (sadly, this has happened to me before, although it could have been that One Hour Photo really did suck ass, and everyone I talked to about it was just insane).

Karena rented One Hour Photo. It was lame, and Michael Vartan is hideous in it. Why would anyone make their hair look like that on purpose? Horrifying.
