9 Apr 2002 08:08 pmI saw Lacey's entry about Teddy Grahams and immediately had to get myself to the store so I could buy some! Damn you, Lacey! I only had $5 for lunch for the rest of the week, and now, because of YOU, I've only got $2!
Anyway, yes, I am still alive, Lacey. I have no idea if Kaity's still alive though, since I haven't seen or heard from her in over a week. Kaity, if you're reading this, call me!
My disappearance can be blamed on the never-ending pain of BIT 100. I've been wasting my time doing assignments for this class in order to prove that yes, I do indeed know how to use a mouse, minimize a window, and type in a URL. Good times! Why Cascadia has deemed it appropriate to have the intro to computers class (in which there are people who have never used a computer before in their lives, and really have no idea how to do something as simple as close a window) also include intro to networking, I have no idea. It makes no. Sense. Whatsoever. Because dude, I've got the typing and mouse-handling skills DOWN, but I've got nothing when it comes to networking.
Whoever decides these things is obviously a genius. Because, you know, every person who is just learning how to use a mouse and whatnot clearly is going to want to learn how to network computers immediately thereafter! Clearly.
